What to Do After NYSC Relocation Approval

Spread the love

Congratulations on getting your NYSC relocation approval! This is an exciting step in your National Youth Service Corps journey, and it opens up a new chapter filled with opportunities and challenges.

Whether you’re moving to a new state for personal reasons, career prospects, or other considerations, it’s essential to be well-prepared for the transition.

In this blog post, we’ll guide you through the steps to take after receiving your relocation approval, ensuring a smooth and successful move.

What to Do Getting NYSC Relocation Approval

First, for all, those who applied for in-camp relocation, either through a medical report or connection, it’s important to check your dashboard on the last day of camp around 12pm or 1pm for your relocation approval status.

If your relocation is approved, you will need to pay a fee of approximately N1000 to NYSC through Remita to print out your relocation letter.

Once your relocation is successful, you must submit the following documents to your new NYSC state secretariat:

  1. Original copy of the relocation approval letter.
  2. Photocopy of the relocation approval letter with your bank details (name of the bank you opened in camp, account number, and phone number).
  3. Photocopy of your statement of result or certificate (OND and HND for Polytechnic graduates).
  4. Green card.

What to Do After Submission?

After submitting these documents and receiving approval, your state code will change to reflect your new state of deployment.

Your Place of Primary Assignment (PPA) letter will appear on your dashboard either the same day or a few days later.

Once you have your PPA letter, you can proceed to your new PPA and Local Government Area (LGA) for further documentation, where you will be issued a new ID card.
