Attention all teacher applicants in Oyo State! The Oyo State Universal Basic Education Board (OYOSUBEB) has announced the interview dates for the 2024 recruitment exercise.
This is an important step for everyone who has passed the Computer-Based Tests and is looking to join the esteemed ranks of educators in the state.
The interviews are set to take place from August 14 to August 23, 2024, at the Board’s headquarters in Agodi, Ibadan. A total of 8,197 applicants, who met the 50% cut-off mark from the initial 45,827 candidates, are expected to participate in this phase of the recruitment process.

Here’s the detailed schedule for the interviews:
- Wednesday, August 14, 2024: Egbeda, and Atisbo local government areas.
- Thursday, August 15, 2024: Akinyele, Afijio, and Ibarapa central.
- Friday, August 16, 2024: Iseyin, Itesiwaju, Kajola, Ibarapa East, Ibarapa North, Lagelu, and Iwajowa.
- Monday, August 19, 2024: Ido and Ibadan South West Local Government Areas.
- Tuesday, August 20, 2024: Saki West, Saki East, Irepo, Oriire, Olorunsogo, Orelope, Ogbomoso North, and Ogbomoso South local government areas.
- Wednesday, August 21, 2024: Atiba, Oyo East, Oyo West, Surulere, and Ogo-Oluwa local government areas.
- Thursday, August 22, 2024: Ibadan South-East, Ibadan North-East, Ibadan North-West.
- Friday, August 23, 2024: Oluyole and Ona Ara local government areas.
Required Documents
Candidates are advised to arrive with their application slip, CBT result slip, and interview schedule slip. Additionally, they should bring along all relevant credentials they uploaded on the job portal, which include proof of local government of origin, residency, birth certificate, NIN certificate, academic certificates, NYSC certificate (for graduates), and any other necessary documents.
The Chairman of OYOSUBEB, Dr. Nureni Aderemi Adeniran, has emphasized the importance of punctuality, as the interviews are scheduled to start at 9 a.m. each day. He also encouraged all candidates to check their portal to confirm their specific date of interview.
